About Jeremy

Howdy, I’m Jeremy—a chief estimator, team builder, and coach with more than two decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry.

My estimating journey began in 1999, working for a highway construction company in Texas where I gained foundational knowledge of estimating and project management including excavation, subgrade stabilization, roadway maintenance and concrete structures. That foundation gave me a deep respect for quantities, accuracy, and the real-world impact of good estimating.

In 2013 I began working as an estimator for a concrete construction company, further developing my knowledge and skills related to concrete construction—means, methods, logistics, and risk. To this day I continue to refine my estimating approach and expand my perspective beyond the spreadsheet.

At my core however, I’m a teacher and a coach. Since 2021, I have been involved in one of my greatest adventures yet, training, developing, and coaching an estimating team within our growing company. One of my greatest joys is helping people grow, navigate challenges, and move from where they are to where they want to be.

Building high-performance estimating teams isn’t just about takeoffs and pricing, it’s about people, clarity, accountability, and culture. The coaching I offer is rooted in real-world estimating knowledge and real-world leadership experience. I don’t just teach estimating concepts, I help teams apply them, and through that, enable them to deliver excellent service.

I’m still developing my own team, still learning, and still refining what high performance really looks like in estimating. And that’s exactly why I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned with others.

As I look ahead to the next 10–15 years, I’m excited to work with diverse individuals and companies—helping estimators grow, leaders build structure and strategic culture, and teams develop into confident, high-performing groups within their own unique company cultures.

If that’s something you’re striving for, I’d love to be part of that journey.
